Bertók Ildikó - Pszichológus, Coach

Psychologist, Coach

Everyone has the strength for positive change - I can help achieve this with active attention and tools.

For me, the starting point of the counseling process is that everyone knows their own life best – and I can help the person asking for help to reach their own solution. I combine schema therapy, cognitive methods and person-centered views, also in some cases exercises from coaching. The counseling conversation is a safe and supportive environment where you can step closer to your difficulties and recognize patterns that may be repeating in your life - schema therapy methods are extremely useful in this.

I work with adults who want to learn about their own resources, move on from their blockages and want to live a more balanced and authentic life, hearing their own voice in the midst of expectations.

During my professional studies and work, I gained experience in multinational companies, education and career development, as well as in the field of healthcare.

I obtained my diploma in psychology in 2016, and during my studies I spent a semester in Leuven, Belgium, where the education was focused on cognitive and person-centered psychology. This also helped me to gain a perspective on intercultural difficulties.

Since 2021, I have been participating in training therapy with an analytical approach. I am currently a schema therapy consultant in training, and I will start my family therapy studies this year. I also have a coach qualification, which I find particularly useful in the case of work-related difficulties.

I find it important not only to look at a situation from an individual point of view, but also to understand the social aspects. Priority areas for me are relationship difficulties and workplace problems, self-esteem and career change or burnout.
